Enhance Adhesion and Durability

Stonelux Primer has been specially formulated to prime and seal wood, MDF, concrete, brick, plaster, stone, marble, tile, ceramics and more. Our high performance Primer adheres to the substrate to form a binding layer that is better prepared for application of our Stone Effect Paints.

Stonelux Primer & Undercoat is available in four colour options: Portland, Buff, Grey and Red. Each has been carefully selected to support the best possible finish when used with our Stone Effect Paints.

Water-based Formula: Eco-friendly and low odour

Application

Suitable for Interior and Exterior Use
Adheres to a wide range of substrates including: GRP & GPC, Brickwork, Existing Paintwork, Stone, Concrete, Render, Polystyrene & EPS, Wood & Wood Finishes/MDF, Terracotta, Ceramics

Coverage and Application

Covers up to 6² per litre (per coat), varying by substrate and colour.

Drying Time

Allow 1 to 3 hours drying time between coats or before applying stone effect paint.

Availability

Offered in a range of sizes: 500ml, 1 litre, 2.5 litres, 5 litres, and 10 litres.

Limitations

Do not apply in rain, temperatures below 10°C or above 30°C or if exposure to these conditions is likely during curing time.

Application Instructions

Preparation: Before starting your project, ensure the surface is clean, sound, and dry. For pre-painted or glossy surfaces, sand them to create a suitable key for the primer. Repair any damage with a suitable filler.
Apply at least one coat of Stonelux Primer to the prepared surface.
For better coverage, additional coats can be applied.
Leave 1 to 3 hours between coats or before applying stone effect paint.
